Unique walking tours in the vibrant and exciting city of Brighton!
Our fun and informative walking tours are a great way to experience the sights and sounds of Brighton at its best.
We start the tour in the Brighton North Laine shopping area in the heart of the cultural quarter of the city. And this is a real mix of the ethical, exotic and funky. Home to over 300 shops and boasting the largest selection of independent retailers on the south coast, you’ll
find everything from chic , locally made jewellery and paintings, retro kitsch, quirky furniture and a wonderful range of cafes, restaurants and specialist food shops. Next stop is the opulent seaside palace, the Brighton Pavilion. Built as a seaside pleasure palace for King George IV and mixing Regency grandeur with Indian and Chinese influences, this is one of the most exotic buildings in the UK. We’ll tell you all about the interesting and colourful history of its occupants!
Another area that we’ll visit is The Lanes, a stunning pretty area full of vintage, antique andjewellery shops situated in a network of tiny narrow streets sloping down to the seafront.Once home to hundreds of fisherman’s cottages and many retaining the original frontage, the twisted cobbled maze of alleyways lead to fascinating shops and cafes at every twist andturn. A Brighton must see!
And finally we visit the iconic Brighton Pier housing 1,722 feet of fun! One of the oldest piers in the UK, with much of its Victorian charm remaining intact, this is a wonderful combination of traditional British architecture and lively modern entertainment, with theme
park rides, restaurants, arcades and activities.
